Jiang Jie: Piano life

Jiang Jie is a young pianist in China, as well as a doctoral student in music. She began to learn piano when she was four years old. Jiang has been popular among the audience and given some performances around the country, including the most prestigious National Center for Performing Arts in China.

For this video series we invite modern Chinese artists to share their life experiences with us and how they have pursued their “Chinese Dream” within their careers. The chosen artists cover various fields such as music, film, folk arts, and fine arts to name a few.

Their names may already be known throughout the world, or they may lead normal lives among us, but every one of them has remained true to their original intention in the arts and has held on to their artistic creations. Thanks to these people who have dedicated their lives to the arts, the Chinese nation is able to improve its artistic accomplishments, and fully enhance its cultural soft power.
