Kitchen sword

In Chongqing, government officials have discovered a farmer using a Qing Dynasty sword as a kitchen knife making 60-year-old Yi Shouxiang the most badass cook in China. The officials were in Yi's village searching for farm tools of historical value that they could use in an exhibition, so they were shocked when they discovered the valuable sword inscribed with the words Qing Long Jian, Green Dragon Sword. The local cultural bureau is investigating the value of the sword, Yi's just hoping no one discovers the emperor's tomb he's using as a dining table.

Disney double-ups

Disney movies all have a lot of similarities-handsome princes, damsels in distress, inanimate objects with creepily human characteristics, but it turns out they have even more in common than you think. A new video doing the rounds online points out all the times Disney has done something called rotoscoping, which is when animators draw over old footage to create something new. Animation is expensive and labor intensive, so it makes scene that The Mouse House wants to save on costs, and looking for double-ups makes for fun viewing.

Tidal wave

Jay Z's music streaming service Tidal may be struggling, but it has a raft of big names behind it hoping to make waves. Pop royalty Madonna has released a new music video to promote the music streaming service. The video features some of the most famous stars who are selling their music through Tidal. The video is titled, Bitch! I'm Madonna! which seems a little strange for a woman who a few years ago would need no introduction. Whether the video lures more users to Tidal is yet to be seen, but in the meantime we are having fun playing"spot the celebrity".
