After a week of making up lost vacation days, the regular work week is back! Things are back on course here at China Daily’s The Week, our host is still getting fatter and our director is no longer crippled.

Streaking for what?
A young person was reported streaking on the streets of Liuzhou, Guangxi Zhuang autonomous region last week. This streaking led us to think of other people streaking. It appears a lot of people around the world like to run around naked.

The next AirBender?
A group of engineers from Universities in Beijing and Nanjing have put up a new crowdfunding campaign on KickStarter. The project is a baton that shoots air out to act like an air barrier during the rain. According to the video hosted on KickStarter, the baton can only be used as an "air umbrella" during light rains.

Gender bender?
A zoo in Sapporo Japan recently found out that it had been trying to mate two male hyenas for four years. That's right, the zoo couldn't tell if the Hyenas were male or female and decided to mate the two. The animals were originally purchased from a South Korean zoo.
