Ruan Hao, 28 years old, founded LYCS Architecture in 2010.
Ruan, is always moving as he runs a company with over 30 employees. The video shows an innovative project, in which, due to the limited space, Ruan designed a running track on the roof of a school building. He was the first person in China to do this.
Ruan's work is all about breaking rules. His fearless sense of adventure shines through in his projects.
Background:
The 14th International Architecture Exhibition takes place from 7 June to 23 November 2014 at the Giardini and Arsenale venues (Preview on 5 and 6 June) and in various other venues in Venice.
EMGdotART, a privately funded foundation, brings over 10 Chinese individuals and organizations to the exhibition to showcase the Chinese thoughts on this year’s theme: Fundamentals.
The exhibition is titled as "Adaptation: architecture and change in China" and the curators are Marino Folin & MovingCities.
Wang Shuo in Beijing, Zhao Yang in Dali and Ruan Hao in Hangzhou are three of the young elites.
