Hot runners, cold weather

Winter is still going on strong but in places in China the winter cold isn't as strong as one "hot runner's passion" for marathon running. This hot runner in Hangzhou rose to prominence after netizens posted her photos everywhere online in China. While China is having a mild winter, the United States is having one of the coldest winters on record. It's so cold in parts of the states that an escaped prisoner from Kentucky's Blackburn correctional facility turned himself back into custody to escape the cold.

The worm does DPRK part 4

Former NBA basketball star Dennis Rodman has made his fourth trip to the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. Rodman who supposedly has a close friendship with dprk supreme leader Kim Jong-un brought 9 other retired basketball players with him to play an exhibition game with North Korean players. Rodman has denied that the game was a gift to Kim and that this was a gift to the North Korean people but in a CCTV interview Rodman said it was a personal gift to Kim.

Hot blooded musical exchange

Ties between China and Japan are rough right now but it seems that music maybe the one thing that both sides agree upon. One of China's domestically produced war-time-dramas was caught by Chinese netizens for using music from the popular Japanese anime Naruto. In episode 33 of the show Cang Lang (Blue Wolf) the somber background music of Naruto can be heard. Domestic media has placed the blame on the music producers of the show alleging that they weren't serious enough about their work, netizens however seem amused.
