China Daily reporter Peng Yining was on board the Chinese hospital ship Peace Ark for a four-month mission visiting eight countries around Asia.
In the first episode of “Four Month On a Mission”: At the sound of a steam whistle, the Chinese hospital ship Peace Ark sailed from the port of Zhoushan in East China's Zhejiang province on June 10, 2013.It’s a long cruise. People repeat the same routine seven days a week. Life is tedious, exhausting, and sometimes creating tensions. But there are also happy, productive and relaxing moments. The path getting there has been filled with a lot of hard work, tears and laughter.
