Superhero neighbor rescues women

Three women who were kidnapped years ago were set free by police after alerting a neighbor that they were being kept against their will. Charles Ramsey was walking down the street of his suburbanOhioneighborhood when he saw and heard a woman banging on a window and screaming from inside his neighbor’s house. After getting into the house and releasing Amanda Berry, a woman who went missing at the age of 16 in 2003, police came to the scene and rescued two more women from the home. Here’s an interview with the neighbor-turned-hero, Chuck Berry.

Arrogant actress arrested, angry

Actress Reese Witherspoon was arrested this week after she refused to obey orders from a police offer who was talking with her husband. Police video footage and audio of the incident was released, which shows Witherspoon arguing with the police and being a little bit too confident in her legal knowledge that she must have learned while preparing for her role as a lawyer in Legally Blonde.

Man hugs lip-syncing Bieber

During a concert in Dubai, a Bieber-crazed fan jumped on stage and rushed toward the teen pop idol. Security guards soon tackled the guy and in the process knocked into the piano causing it to tip. (And the whole time Bieber’s singing doesn’t miss a single note, making it a pretty safe assumption that the Biebs lip-syncs during his concerts.) Media pounced on the story, claiming the pop star was attacked and mauled. But we think the guy just wanted. Is that so much to ask?

This wacky world!

A woman in the US was attacked by a dog and had her nose bitten off. The woman’s husband retaliated and bit the dog back to scare it away.

A real-estate firm in New York offers its employees a 15-percent raise in their commission if they have the company’s logo tattooed on their body.

A 105-year-old American woman told reporters her secret to longevity: Eat bacon every day. I have to imagine dietary specialists would not agree.

An unidentified “sea monster” died and washed ashore a beach in New Zealand. It was found by a group of visitors, and scientists are currently trying to identify the beast.
